IRKUT CORPORATION AND JEPPESEN AGREE TO MULTIPLE SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MC-21 CIVIL AIRCRAFT

JSC IRKUT Corporation, a part of JSC United Aircraft Corporation and Jeppesen, a unit of Boeing Flight Services recently agreed to a five-year master service agreement to provide Jeppesen electronic flight bag (EFB), flight planning, charting, navigation data and mobile delivery solutions for the development of IRKUT Corporation MC-21 passenger aircraft.

“Cooperation with Jeppesen will allow us to better evaluate the effectiveness of the aircraft during the test and evaluation phase of MC-21 aircraft development, fuel efficiency primarily,” said Alexy Fedorov, president of the IRKUT Corporation. “We believe that Jeppesen’s solution suite will help to MC-21 operators optimize their costs.”
